Unique baby holiday outfit Review: Valentine’s Day 2022

As always I am super excited for another holiday with my kids And no holiday would be the same without paired or matching outfits for them.

Unique Baby is one of our favorite small business shops on Amazon and for good reason. 

-They’re size inclusive and offer products for nearly every holiday for the whole family including matching mommy & me sets. 

-They’re an environmentally cautious company with their “give a gift” initiative. (More on that in a separate post.)

-Unique baby consistently thinks of their customers by including thank-you notes, discount cards, and QR codes to redeem free-themed activity packs in their packages.

Their outfits are always high quality, they wash & wear well and my children always look forward to their outfits. Who doesn’t love feeling festive on holidays?

I’m always so excited when I find a full outfit for my son rather than just a shirt. —Don’t get me wrong we love a good themed shirt but when my daughter has 100 different options for 2 and 3-piece outfits for any given occasion and my son only has shirts to choose from it seems very one-sided and gender biased. Thankfully with Unique Baby, we are able to dress both of our children in cute, high-quality memorable outfits as they offer many things for boys and girls alike!  

The only drawback with this Valentine’s set for my son is that it’s a short set rather than a full-length pant set like my daughter’s. We live in Georgia and have weather that often takes us through all 4 seasons of the year in a span of a week and as of the time I’m dictating this segment, the forecast predicts a high of no more than 65°F on Valentine’s Day. Knowing my son however it could be freezing outside and he’d still wear his outfit as it was meant to be worn. (moms of boys know what I mean 🤣😅)

Soap and water are not enough: The Seint skincare routine that changed everything.

As most of you have already read I have written previously about Saint and the products offered by this company however the skincare collection is something we’ve not yet covered. 

Makeup is an important tool for many people looking to enhance their natural beauty, cover blemishes, and improve overall confidence Seint does a wonderful job of all of the above with quality low impact ingredients and high-quality products of all types in cream & powder. 

Seint also offers makeup tools such as brushes apparel and storage solutions. 

But none of that does its job as well as it could without a strong well cared for foundation. The skin is your largest organ.

Just let that sink in. Think about all the things that we do in a day that could possibly be damaging to our skin.

Chemicals from cleaning, overuse of body products, The impact of laundry detergents, and of weather and sun exposure. 

These products have done my skin so much good and they’ve made the already amazing makeup application even smoother and simpler for me! As a busy mom with a demanding lifestyle I don’t have 2+ hours for self-care to get ready everyday and thanks to Seint I don’t need 2 hours, nor do I have to sacrifice myself for the sake of time. 

It takes me 30 minutes to do everything from skincare and clothing to makeup & hair CONSISTENTLY.  Yes, you read that right this ISN’T A FLUKE!

The Seint skincare collection consists of a three-step system and four items. 

•Cleanser (100 ml)

•Toner (100 ml)

•Creme (50 ml)

•Microfiber Cloths (Set of 3)

(The previously mentioned 50 count refresh wipes that I love so much are sold separately)

It really is as simple as 123. 

Wash your face with cleanser, wipe away makeup and any oils and residue with the buttery soft microfiber cloths,

Gently spray your clean, dry face with toner

And lastly, moisturize with milk cream to lock in all the healthy self-care effects!

DONE!

The microfiber cloths wash extremely well and the toner and cleanser can be refilled. 

You can use them all as a system or at separate times as needed for your schedule and for your skin the sky is the limit with Seint!

The packaging is classy and consistent always giftable and welcoming.

The microfiber cloths even come individually packaged and housed in a pull drawer box which is wonderful for storage!

If it works to breathe new life into my neglected tired-mom skin it can do wonders for anyone willing to pick it up and try it. 

I deserved the self-care and you do too. 

There’s no longer any guilt surrounding me taking care of myself because I’m giving my children and my husband the best of me not just what’s left of me and I’m not having to sacrifice tons of time with my family and doing the things they need me to do to take care of myself I can do them simultaneously things are still getting done and I feel better no one loses here! Lyons Den Designs – custom timeout chair product review.

Tatorthoughts recently collaborated with Samantha from Lyons den designs and y’all have got to see the magic she’s got up her sleeves!

I had the pleasure of working with her to customize two IKEA MAMMUT Time out Chairs.  They are ADORABLE! Samantha did her thing and took two basic white chairs and make them something any parent could be proud for their child to have even if it is for time out. 

Fear not, these chairs are a blank slate for Lyons den designs you can personalize them to fit your child’s interests, if you can think it Samantha can make it. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Her dedication to her work is top-tier! But just when you think it can’t get any better it does! Her customer service is incredible, seriously one of the best I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. 

Assembly was a breeze. 

It took me less than 12 minutes to assemble both chairs even with my dexterity and coordination that more often than not leaves much to be desired. 

No tools required, they truly are align, click & go. 

If these chairs can fairly comfortably hold a 5”5 adult woman I have no doubt they’ll take almost any beating a child of time out chair age (let’s say 2-8 years old for the sake of the review) can deliver. 

These are chairs any child would be proud to own. Though they may be for time out they don’t have to be ugly. 

Unlike Agatha Trunchbull, we don’t believe time out should be in a dark damp corner or the infamous “chokey.”

Timeout is a time of self-reflection used to discern how a child can make better decisions but it surely doesn’t have to always be an ugly or even a completely negative thing. After all, children are just small people, learning to navigate the world the same way we as adults do. 

Around here we do 1 minute for every year of age for the length of timeout. We explain, sit and explain again. It’s more of a constructive teaching opportunity than punishment.  Samantha has you covered though! With the option of a removable, working timer you can set it without worries of forgetting it! She went so far as to include velcro command strips in our package! (Talk about customer service!)

Cut, peel, stick DONE! 

We’ve placed ours on the back of the chair, out of sight and fairly well out of reach of those that will sit in these little seats. 

They’re sturdy, visually appealing, super easy to assemble, and a constructive learning tool for growing minds and big hearts with big emotions. These are a perfect addition to our quiet thinking spot & you really can’t go wrong. You can personalize them any way you like to best fit your family’s needs. Send her a pm.

Justine’s words that stick custom embroidered Easter basket product review.

I recently partnered with a wonderful Home school mom Justine, business owner of justine’s words that stick!
Not only is she beyond sweet her creative talents are bar none!
I was blessed with the opportunity to review an embroidered and yes I said embroidered Easter basket for her and I’ve gotta say, I’ve reviewed a lot of items.. ALOT quite a few of which never actually made it in front of you guys on the blog because quality didn’t live up to expectations but this basket DEFINITELY DOES!
As you may have guessed I’m a huge sucker for traditions and this Easter basket is one tradition I know my daughter will carry with her for years to come as we celebrate the Easter holiday festivities.
I’ve seen a lot of embroidery.. most leave so much to be desired but the quality of my daughter’s beautifully embroidered name surpassed all expectations I could’ve had.
These baskets are deep, sturdy and spacious. You cannot go wrong!
There’s so much up this creative gals’ sleeve I doubt anyone could put an idea in front of her that she couldn’t pull off, I so look forward to working with her more in the future and continuing to bring you guys the impeccable product reviews you crave I absolutely love showcasing people’s talents and giving others the opportunity to shop small and support dreams.

Cherished custom creations: The Review.

Cherished custom creations: custom headband and name reveal bodysuits review.

The bodysuit design is beautiful and very well done. I have no doubt these outfits will outlast her time in that size and hold up well in her shadow box.

The headband is PERFECTION!
The monogram stands out so boldly and beautifully on the extremely soft purple headband fabric and is fit for a girl of any age.
I’m blessed to say my daughter has a wonderful village of people around her that pour so much love into what they create because they play a huge role in making her arrival even more momentous for us.

Carla’s babycakes product review

I had the pleasure of working with ms. Carla on a beautiful diaper cake for a baby event we held this month!

Her service was fast, efficient and very friendly.  She made sure what she created met our needs and did so in beautiful fashion. 

To my surprise the delivery even came with a beautiful note

Her diaper cakes are well made, thoughtful and packaged with great care. Very portable and absolutely gift-able!

The designs are simple and sleek. Each creation is well thought out and uniquely designed. 

I’m very proud to say that I’ve worked with such a wonderful lady and had a beautiful centerpiece made by her featured at my event.

Omg crafts custom bow holder product review!

Before my daughter’s gender was ever even confirmed I reached out to beccah- owner of omg crafts for a custom bow holder creation, because my Overwhelming desire to bring a daughter earth-side manifested itself as a growing collection of bows that I needed a beautiful place to house. 

As with any omg craft production I was beyond satisfied. It was all I wanted and more. I was blown away!

She got the quality to match the beauty. 

The colors and accents were exactly what I wanted! 

You can tell time, pride and effort were put into this well thought out and executed bow holder. 

I LOVE that this can grow with our daughter. 

I love that even if not used as a bow organizer it has the potential to be used as a lovely accent piece for any females room – regardless of age. 

I can’t thank her enough for the amazing addition to our child’s room.

Omg crafts custom shelf product review!

Omg crafts custom sign & design review:

Beccah is a close personal friend of mine, mom of two beautiful kids, holds down a full time job and runs her own craft & creativity business called omg crafts which can be found on both Facebook and instagram!

Now, what I had her do is something she hadn’t really done before so it’s completely custom but she’s so impeccable she’s open to pretty much anything!

I unlisted her help on creating a unique home decor Christmas present for Skeeter and she DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

I wanted something that celebrated our family name that was also timeless. She established just that by giving me a beautifully stained hand made wooden wall decor accent piece that also has a shelf with small key hooks underneath. 

It’s sturdy, extremely well crafted, neatly stained and HAND PAINTED. 

I have absolutely no doubt that this is one custom craft that will not only withstand the test of time but surpass it. 

Presenting this to my love as we celebrated Christmas morning gave me such a wonderful sense of contentment. 

He could see how much thought and effort was put into something special for our home both on my part and in hers.
